Specially for his Nannie :) The boys in this family are rocking some awesome beautiful blue eyes! Just gorgeous.
I got a serious dose of baby fix today with the absolutely adorable 6 day old Liam. He was such a teeny bundle of cuteness - which clearly runs in the family as big brother Jack was just as cute. Liam was such a good wee boy and was very alert but had to give in to sleep right at the end.
Being the stickler that I am for getting the best shots I can of kids, I had Keira and Annika come back to see me so we could get a few more. Both Keira and Annika were much more on their game this time and we got some adorable shots of them which makes me one very happy photographer :)
and what a star! Jesse was a pure delight to photograph today and really turned it on for me and all his lovely family who came to join Jesse in his first photo session (including his Great Grandma who had come from Australia to meet him for the first time). Jesse had a very captive audieance and is one lucky boy to have such an adoring family :)
It is so cool to see them as they grow! Today Sean came in for his 3 month old photos and gave me the huge privelage of being there to see him roll for the very first time!! What a clever boy! He was trying so hard and then just rolled like a pro. Seans about to be hugged and kissed to bits as his Grandparents and two Uncles arrive from Ireland tonight to see him for the very first time - they will adore this little face!
I was soooooooo excited about todays session with little Jackson! Jacksons Mum works at the wonderful daycare my two boys go to and it is just the biggest thrill for me to be the one who gets to photograph this special little guy - I know his Mum and Dad have waited a long time for him. Although, Im not sure who is the luckier in this new family - Jackson to have such an AWESOME Mum and Dad or his Mum and Dad to have such a beautiful little boy! I get to photograph Jackson two more times in his first year and I cant wait to see him grow.
I cant even call it a job because its just to much fun to be called a job - its my addiction, my passion and my privelage all rolled into one. The privelage part is because I get to capture some truely special moments in peoples lives and never was this more true than today when David and Stacey came to see me to capture them as they await the birth of their first baby (who I cant wait to photograph! Guys I am seriously counting down!). I can tell that their baby is going to be one very adored and lucky bub to have such great parents.
(I dont know whats up with my pictures on here looking very pixely lately?? Just as well Im getting a smokin new blog very soon!)
Well Im back from an amazing holiday on the Gold Coast and I was back to work today with an awesome session with Ella and Charlie (oh and their lovely Mum and Dad). Ella and Charlie made it sooooo easy for me today as they were such perfect little models. They were so awesome that we were finished in record time - although I could have kept snapping away for ages! I really enjoyed meeting Charlie and Ella and this has to be one of my favorite sessions.

Before I am a lady of leisure enjoyiong sun sun and more sun (oh yeah!) I have a few favorites from the past week.
First little Miss Keira came to see me with her baby sister Annika - they were as cute as cute can be! They certainly had me on my toes but I just love this shot of Keira :)
I also went to see 6 great kids at their Nana's house and we all braved the freezing cold to enjoy the beautiful colours of autumn - what a great bunch of kids and very awesome jumpers to!!
And lastly the adorable Sam and his awesome big brother and sister came to see me. They are such great kids and a pleasure to have at my studio. Heres a few of Sam - check out those beautiful HUGE baby blues!

These are some of my favorite girls to photograph and they are so wonderfully photogenic but today was our last session as they are packing up and moving to Oz :( Some of you may remember baby Tennesse who was my baby in a santa hat at Christmas time.

Beautiful, super placid 3 week old Madison came to see me today and proved the theroy that babies need to be under 2 weeks old so you can capture their curly, sleepy peacefulness completely wrong. she was an absolute angel and I think her lucky Mum and Dad are in for an easy road with this one :)
And this one is for Maddy and Mac's Nana - ok seriously how much has Mac grown since I photographed him 4 weeks ago wow!!! This one cracks me up....
Just doing a new photo of me for my website blah! And showing my mother my new haircut lol - does cutting inches and inches off your hair mean you accept your getting older! Oh no is this a practical, workable haircut that befits a mother of 4 kids!!!!! Off to buy something young and hip to try and recapture my youth........
Yesterday I had fun doing photos for 4 hairdressers competing in a competition. It was a first for me but wow working with adults is alot easier than kids lol. Here are two of my favs!

After a very busy first half of the year I am treating me and my very patient Husband to a long overdue holiday to the Gold Coast, Australia where we will be enjoying some very relaxing, computer free, child free, camera free few days. Im sure by the time I come back I will have a huge case of withdrawals but I cant wait to cruise for a few days.
So my studio will be closed from the 9th June to the 18th June. Im back to work on the 19th and looking forward to the influx of newborns that will are coming to see me in June and July yay - I mean how else am I supposed to get my baby fix!

12 week old Mac came to see me today and he was an absolute cutey! Unfortunately he wasnt feeling the love for me and my camera so hes going to come back and see me next week and I'm looking forward to capturing his beautiful smile.
This one cracks me up, he's giving me that "you want me to do what?" look!
I'm so lucky that I get such great people coming to my studio and today was no exception! Hollie and her lovely Mum and Dad came into today and Hollie had us cracking up with all her expressions and her determination not to sleep! But she did awesome and even gave me some huge smiles (perks of the job!) before she finally nodded off and I have to say my favorites from today are of her sound asleep - so beautiful!

Today was my last wedding for the next couple of months and while I am looking forward to the break I know that after a couple of weekends off, I will sooooo start to miss weddings. But today I got to enjoy Jason & Bridgets big day at the absolutely gorgeous Judge Valley Vineyard. The weather was stunning and the whole day was so relaxed and fun. We had great fun with shadows, sunset and stars!
I was looking forward to photographing Madelyn and it appears she couldnt wait either as she arrived 7 weeks early! She is doing great and came home last week and then came to see me a couple of days ago. On her first visit she was wide awake and not to keen on being photographed, so her lovely Mum bought her back the next day and I'm so pleased she did! I was even more excited as I got to try out my new hat which I love!!
So here is Miss Madelyn at 4 weeks old and not quite 5lb, who is going to be the poster child of my next new project shhh! Its still in the planning stages but I will tell all soon ;)
I had a great time with this awesome family today, its so easy to get great shots when you are working with such a bunch of great looking, lovely people. I loved the dynamics of this family and really love how their shots came out so I hope they do to.
I went to Tauranga yesterday to photograph Brent & Aleisha's big day. Stunning is the only way to describe Aleisha, absolutely stunning. And so photogenic - I heard a rumour that was her formal title "Miss Photogenic" hehe. Another word to describe her would be incrediabley understanding! We were doing a shot of the rings in the gazebo when Aleisha's wedding ring slipped and fell between the cracks of the steps! Luckily a crow bar was found, the step came off and the ring was back safely on her finger - and she never missed a beat (I however was having a quiet heart attack lol!!) Alss well that ends well - PHEW!

I had a blast with these beautiful girls today! They kept me so entertained and on my toes. Such adorable girls and I have to say Mikayla has the most beautiful hair I have ever seen on a 2 year old!
Another beautiful sunny day and another beautiful bride. The most creative bride who did an amazing job making her dress and so many of the accessories for their wedding.
I had such an awesome time with Theo and Age on Saturday. They had a beautiful wedding at Hamilton Gardens and were so much fun to photograph and are a fantastic couple. Sometimes its just to easy..
I cant not write enough to say how excited and flattered I am to have been interveiwed by Little Treasures magazine! It is a huge honour and so cool to see some of my work in such an awesome mag! And congrats to Cooper and Liam who have their cute little faces are in print for all to see :)

Me in front of the camera!! I'll be honest I hate being in front of the camera with a passion but I realised the other day I have very very few pics of me with my kids - no record of our memories together. So while i was at the beach the other day my cousin Jen grabbed my camera and snapped this one of me and two of my guys (didn't she do well!)
It was a girls day at the studio today and what adorable girls they are!
Quinn came to see me in the studio on Thursday and what a cute little guy!! He started his session by giving me a biug hug ahhhhhhhh the perks of my job.
On saturday I had a great day photographing Kelly & Clintons wedding. What a great day and an awesome bunch to photograph - I love weddings like this :) Just a couple of sneak peeks for them but I promise more to come.
Had a great day in Auckland today and a quick visit to Muriwai beach to take some shots of family. Heres my fav shot of the day, 3 of my cousins. The hardest bit about this shot is the realisation of hoe grown up they are now.
Today I thought I would lift my head from my desk and take some photos of my two youngest boys. Now granted a one year old and a three year old are no easy task so I took what I could get! They are both so active and dont sit still long enough for my camera to focus but I love these two for very different reasons :)

And just in case you think its any easier for a photographer to get photos of their own kids than any other parent.....this is what I got for half an hour of trying to get Blakes photo in the awesome light in my room! I gave up in the end.
Friday was the most beautiful day with a wedding at the most beautiful location! I had such a blast photographing Dave & Karlena's wedding at the Indian Garden at Hamilton Gardens. Karlena looked gorgeous and worked it in front of the camera perfectly! Congrats guys!
Lucky me got to photograph the adorable 10 day old Max today :) He has the most hilairious expressions and just wanted to stretch right out and man is he super alert!!

I had the pleasure to photograph the very lovely and perfectly pregnant Ash. I cant wait to photograph her baby when it arrives :) I have so many favorites but am only posting one as my favs are abit more revaling and I dont want to show to much of her!

Yesterday was Blakes 1st birthday so I thought instead of my usual studio stlye, I would take him outside and get some photos of him on his first day of being one year old! It was so great to be outside and the colours were awesome (something good that comes from a drought - lots of yellows!). So heres my baby, not so much a baby anymore....(oh and most of my time was spent trying to stop him from eating sheep poop!)
The fastest moving 10 month old you ever saw! Finn was such a little comic, he was so happy and full of energy. He was so steady on his feet for 10 months, he didnt walk - he ran!

I had the extreme pleasure of photographing Vanessa and Johns wedding at Vilagrads in January. It was the hottest, sunniest day and I was swealtering but it was such a beautiful wedding for such an awesome couple. I have to say they had the most hilairious bridal party, I love weddings like this.
I coud post so many pics but I cant so I will finish off this one of John and Vanessas gorgeous boys - it cracks me up every single time! I wonder what Thomas was thinking?
My very first session of 2008 was with the absolutely perfect Cooper. He was such a good boy and slept so well for us - he even made me very clucky!!! I think he is just beautiful.
I was so flattered that Indies Mum and Dad travelled three hours for me to take their beautiful girls photos. She is an adorable little model.
Then there was adorable chunky Jacob! I couldnt believe his Mummy was hiding 9lb 30zs of baby in her little tummy!
